Media Rewards is an app you can download that can earn you some passive-ish income by listening for ads using your phones microphone. Of course, that also means that they can listen into any other sound your microphone picks up. If that is a concern of yours, then you probably shouldn’t have a phone or other internet connected devices like Alexa in your home or on your person.
Setup is crazy easy and takes only a minute. After that, you just exist and will make money. I’m not sure what they listen for, but they have a meter that goes up over time. Allegedly, you can win these prizes. They send out notifications saying that folks do. I’ve never won personally though.
What I have received from this app is several surveys, roughly every one to two months, each worth $10 that can be used to redeem for various gift cards. None of the surveys have ever taken me more than 5 minutes to fill out. That’s good money for the time invested. Assuming you get one survey every 2 months, that means you’ll get paid $60 per year for 30 minutes of work!
